In fact, come to think of it, my puppy love in my Upper Sec years was from ACS and he was really charming. We used to have telephone marathons from when we arrived home from school until just before our parents got home. We never got round to holding hands cause both of us were shy. It was that sweet and innocent and wholesome, not like these days where a girl can get pregnant at 9! 
Back in my time, holding hands is like a big thing. The guy would be very very shy in initiating, and the girl would blush like an English rose!

One thing I remember during my sec school days was that we had house parties at friends' house, and the boys will actually ask the gals for a dance....how sweet! Then in early twenties, somehow, it became gals would dance with gals and guys would dance with guys liao. I think if one trivialises sex, one not only compromises one's own sense of self-respect, but something that's meant to be beautiful and important when shared between a loving couple becomes just a 'human need and desire to be fulfilled'.
That's why I was telling honeymouse that I don't think I'll choose a Caucasian man to marry because their culture tends to be way too open!
I asked my Aussie colleagues before, "HOw long does it take you before you'd kiss your date?"
"Erm... a day? If I'm drunk, within the hour?!"
And she was serious! She went on to tell us about her pash-fest with 'some man' in 'some bar' when she got drunk 'one night'.
Basically, if you hop in and out of several beds, then the marital bed means nothing to you because it's 'just another sexual relationship'.
It's akin to, if you can only have Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream once a year (like poor ol' me!!), you'll savour every lick! But if ten pints are sitting in your freezer waiting to be consumed, the relative value of the B&J's plunges steeply. I believe it's called 'Economic Cost'.

Yeah... during church camp once, we had a kinda line dance except the guys formed an inner circle, the girls formed the outer circle. Each time a round was completed and 'my guy' came to dance with me again, I would and it was sooooo memorable!
It's something that still brings tears to my eyes...
