Me too, me too!Originally posted by sbst275:I'm waiting for the IT show
Mostly I believe are those alrdy assembled ones...Originally posted by Wanda:Me too, me too!
I've always used brandless pc assembled by the SLS shops. This time, SO and friends can shop for the pc parts for me (and I just have to pay) and assemble the CPU at home.
I wonder - at the PC show: (a) can we do that - as in buy diff parts to assemble at home? Or (b) will we have to buy a ready-assemble pc? Or (c) can we specify the specs we want for the vendor to assemble later?
Oh, they're selling Shimano bikes at the runway cycling for $250...supposed to be not bad a deal, and worth more than that price.Originally posted by sbst275:Aft that, following week would the annual cycling event on the runway of Paya Lebar Air Base and the IT show bah
I see...Originally posted by Wanda:Oh, they're selling Shimano bikes at the runway cycling for $250...supposed to be not bad a deal, and worth more than that price.
That's really not bad at all.Originally posted by Wanda:Oh, they're selling Shimano bikes at the runway cycling for $250...supposed to be not bad a deal, and worth more than that price.
You can get your bike after your sentosa job pays you.Originally posted by fudgester:That's really not bad at all.
I've been using my bro's bike for cycling trips... I think it's about time that I get my own.
But then again....

how did they make such a nice round hole as a house?Originally posted by the Bear:pic of the night
baby house wrens
a sad side of the story here coz the bird population in the US has been decimated by the West Nile Virus.. but one of the species, the wrens, has bounced back..
That sounds great.... thanks!Originally posted by Wanda:You can get your bike after your sentosa job pays you.Or would you be interested in getting a 2nd hand or even 3rd hand (but well maintained) mtn bike...(will be a lot cheaper)? Sometimes, my friends who are giving up cycling will sell their bikes.

Yes, I agree... more important things come first, definitely.Originally posted by fudgester:That sounds great.... thanks!
Will contact you when and if I do get the chance to buy a bike.
At any rate, bikes aren't at the top of my most-wanted list right now... of greater priority is a new digicam, followed by a new PC.
My #$#%^ digicam malfunctions easily and sucks up battery life like a sponge.
My laptop is a cripple... its DVD-ROM drive, RAM chips, and wireless card have all failed at one point in time or another and had to be replaced. And the battery is shorting out as well... it goes dead within one hour at most.![]()

I'd put a new PC on the top of the list... but it sure as heck would cost more. Besides, I figure that my laptop should be able to last through my final year in NUS, as crippled as it may be.Originally posted by Wanda:Yes, I agree... more important things come first, definitely.![]()
