Sigh, I have been so busy at work, hardly have any chance to come in to chat.
Anyway, I am sure all of you are having fun....

I have been doing site visits Tue & Thu and when I am in the office I need to work on the feasibility reports and catch up with my other works..... so much on at the moment that I actually dragged myself in to work early (at 7am) today.

Ok... I got the next two days off. I can finally rest properly and recover from the flu as much as possible.
Working at Sentosa isn't bad at all... the workers there are like one big happy family and everyone smiles and waves at each other even if we don't really know each other.
The wages aren't all that bad too - $5.80/hr is a lot better than the pathetic $3.50/hr that 7 Eleven gives for much more siong work.
The only sucky thing is that they're having a manpower shortage - so I can expect lots of extended shifts.

i keep seeing meringues on the cooking shows and.. it's HARD to find good meringues in singapore
and you can't even find pavs here -

In any case, the working environment's enjoyable. Everyone treats everyone else equally (unlike Pan Pacific where the other bellmen saw me as an 'elitist' prick to be picked on). And so far I've not been pulled into any workplace politics.
So... yeah, I would say that it's a good place to work in. -

watching Nigella Lawson make cupcakes.. the icing looks amazing..
350gms of icing sugar + 2 egg whites.. whisked for 5 minutes... then a squirt of lemon juice.. continue for 2 more minutes..

The icing can make a big difference to the taste of the cake. Extra flavour.
