  this just occured to me.. this year's NDP, if the parade commander screws up, the soldiers may just march into the sea like lemmings

  now have little gal with me in the room so as to give sis some free time to do somethings.

  1.30pm - 10pm shift today. Bummer.
  
  I actually prefer the morning shift... just get it over and done with.
  
  In any case, as part of the training, they'll be taking me for a tour of Sentosa's attractions tomorrow in order to familiarise myself with them. Since it counts as a formal training session, they will still have to pay us the full wage of $5.80/hour.
  
  It tickles me to think that they're paying ME to tour THEIR attractions.

  well, i may not be evicted from my cubicle..
  
  there's this high-ranking person coming in, and they are cutting up the place for his office..
  
  thing is, they want a window.. but if they cut up the cubicles here, the place will be a mess and he'll have a small room.. if they let him have the current meeting room, he'll have a big room with no windows...
  
  so, i wonder what next? if he uses the meeting room, it'll be very little disruption and he'll be closer to his staff... if he still wants the windows, there'll be major reconstruction here... and i'll need a couple of flamethrowers to clear out my cubicle

  We had a couple of such problems with the VSC HQ too.
  
  They are always trying to create some new posts for some more senior officers. Which up till now.....I still dont see improvements in work flow or improved conditions for the grounds or admin officers.
  
  Whats the point of them? Why do they need a office, where they never spend a day in?
  
  Besides, its much more fun in the open space cubicles. We really got a lot more fun passing foodstuffs, chitchatting with each other thru the cubicles & evesdropping on each others conversation and frankly can cover each other anytime.

  actually, i think it's just them 'hoarding talent' but they are usually talentless hacks who are just there because they have an MBA or something
  
  ultimately, we don't really much care about them.. we treat them as non-existent and sometimes irritants as they create more useless work for us working hacks to do
