I did encounter racism in Australia though it was my little brother ( he was only 12 then) Big burly ang mo picking on him, but a few other ang mos helped him out so I guess it ain't that bad (I guess that was too obvious and my brother used to be tiny for his age so it looks really bad... adult picking on a kid

I slept at 2.30am last night. I woke up at 7am for morning prayers and couldn't get back to sleep. My whole body is aching like mad... and once again, I'll be working tonight.
Basket... some idiotic little boy pressed the emergency stop button at the Sentosa Express train platform I was working. As a result, the entire Sentosa Express network was paralysed for at least ten minutes while my superiors were scrambling to reset the system!
Oh well... I managed to find out who the culprit was. I continuously screamed at the passengers, 'WHO PRESSED THE EMERGENCY RED BUTTON?!?! ALL THE TRAINS CANNOT MOVE BECAUSE OF THIS!!!!'
And eventually, the little boy's own mother admitted to me that her son did it.
Upon receiving instructions from my superiors, I took down the little fella's name, nationality and passport number and handed it over to them. -

They treat you differently when you speak their accent and if you are firm and won't be bullied.
But there was this very racist professer. I still remember his name
Do you know during that time all the Asian students actually wrote in the complain about him coz all the asian students failed this assignment he gave whereas all the ang mos passed.
Cannot be right and we compared the work -
BTW, Gramaphone is now having storwide discounts of 20% off all CDs and 15% off all DVDs. Some items are marked even lower. So those of you who still buy CDs and DVDs instead of downloading can check it out

But for goodness' sake, would it kill the parents to watch over their kids for a few minutes?!?! They were running around the platform and creating havoc. There's only so much that I can do to control the crowd on the platform on a busy public holiday!!!
Heck, according to the CCTV analysis later on, my supervisor told me that another kid (belonging to the same tour group) was fiddling with the platform door controls at the same time the first kid pressed the emergency stop button. If that second kid had succeeded in activating the controls, chances are that several passengers would have fallen off the platform. -
