10% is like not much, hor?Originally posted by choco B:I'm not a member either.
From what I've heard, during the Isetan private sale, there is something like 10% rebate for cosmetics and skincare. Sometimes they have bonus vouchers on purchase.
What kind of brushes did you get, all for eye shadow?

I got a travel-size bag with 4 travel-sized brushes ($92) - for eye shadow, blusher, lip & eyeliner i think...plus a normal-sized brush for concealer which alone costs $39.Hope they can last as long as my old Kose brush which I think lasted more than 8 yrs.
What MAC brush did you get?
I've no idea...Originally posted by the Bear:eh? i thought Isetan member card is like the Robinson member card?

BTW, Choco, I now qualify for 6 free makeup lessons from BB....i think it's their ploy to get us to buy more stuff from them.![]()
$12 per year is not bad...at 10% discount, one only need to spend $120 to recoup the cost of membership. Hmm.... *lub chin*Originally posted by the Bear:i did a quick google search
their in-house credit card is $12 a year.. waived if you spend $2k or more..
their privilege card gets you points.. like a loyalty programme which lets you exchange your points for vouchers. but it's $10 every 2 years unless you accumulate 1k points (spend $1k)

Mine hasn't got any expiry date, just need to call to make prior appointment. The first lesson is on eye makeup, then proceed to the other parts until you get 6 lessons. Their style of make-up hor...is too strong for my taste...it's perhaps not strong enough for photography but definitely too much to wear make up like that and walk in the streets....a bit like wayang actor.Originally posted by choco B:Me too me too!![]()
And I haven't went for one yet! How long is validity? I think mine is going to expire soon...
When I was in JC I splurged on comics
Now I splurge on clothes & stuff
I wonder when I'll ever splurge on more useful things like stocks and bonds

Then you may kiss her head.Originally posted by the Bear:hmmm.. makeup..
as a guy, i've got mixed feelings about makeup on ladies.. imagine a guy stealing a kiss from his girl and he gets a mouthful of lipstick, powder and paint?

Just one ...with that cheesy blue sea (prop) background behind, and they framed it up in a card calendar..after some doctoring.Originally posted by choco B:Hehehe! Maybe that's for the makeover, so they need to buah gao gao... how many photos did they give you?
I don't think they'd be so hardworking during the makeup lessons
My card states "Jan 08" so I suspect that is the expiry date -__-
IIRC the lessons don't have to be in order.
