  MG, you are right to say that Singapore's road condition is kinda harsh for manual transmission vehicle drivers

  actually, after driving around since i got my license in 1989, except for my car and for a while driving my roommate's car in uni, i've driven manual transmission...
  
  and i was smoother than most automatic transmission cars
  
  i miss having to do stuff in the car

  they refused to send me for the Class 4 & 5 when i was put in charge of the big vehicles

  Arrrgh.... my whole body's aching like crap. And I have yet another evening shift tonight before I can get my day off tomorrow.
  
  In other news, my parents and older sister are going overseas later today. My bro is backpacking alone in Morocco.
  
  So for the next two weeks, it's only me and my younger sister at home.

  Then maybe spend a week backpacking alone through Malaysia or something.
  
  I've never travelled alone before.... I want to get some experience doing so. After all, when my bro was my age he was already backpacking alone through Germany and Switzerland.

  i wanted to do that in 2005.. take ALL my leave for both the years, all 56 days, and go backpack Europe...
  
  then 2 things happened... the euro went through the roof and my back gave way

  I've already done some research on the backpackers' hostels and transportation... it costs less than US$10 per night in a decent hostel.
