that's the thing about Apple.. you don't need to know the fiddly bits because there aren't any fiddly bits
and when you're at AppleCentre, you can see the range of games made for Apple.. they have the types of games you like to the intense types like WoW and Return to Wolfenstein.. and Blizzard supports both Windoze and OSX and sells the game in a box which can be run on either..
best of all, the footprint of the iMac is so minute, you'd wonder what's going on
OK, I think I shall make a trip down to the Apple Center in town next week and see what they have for dodo's like me.
If I can really play games on the 2nd OS with no probs, then I'm sold. -

When you come to Melbourne, I shall bring you to my favourite Asian DVD shop. I think they recently added a 2nd floor to their retail area where it's all AV's. Don't know how good their offerings are cause I'm too pai seh to venture up there to see for myself. Maybe next time I go there with fymk, I shall drag her up there with me for erm... uhh.. they're the same price...
online flash games, they'll run on safari (the web browser) too.. only some are a bit faster..
if you have to download and run the game (like Maple Story), you usually need xp.. but those games... uhh..
if it's just online games, you're better off with the X-Box360, or PS3... you can download and try out demos and all that
