I've got this hot pot as a free gift ...you're supposed to cooked soup/porridge then place the boiled stuff in this pot to keep warm or to keep "nuahing" the food. I wasn't sure if the grill was sold in Sg coz I couldn't find it in the shops, but i manage to find a nice, clean 2nd hand version at cash converters...so it would just be a $24 elephang.

Hi, sorry first, cos I am bragging here.
I made braised pork hocks today. The recipe is up on the recipe thread known as lazy auntie braised pork.
anyway, while folding laundry and watching the jive pad just now, brother in law informed me to clean up the kitchen as they are done with eating dinner.
I go to the kitchen to find the kitchen table cleaned of foods and the dishes stacked in the sink with not one scrap of leftovers.
Then hor, check my braised pork hocks pot and found that it was left with 2 mushrooms & an egg. Everything in it is gone!
Its either I am getting better at cooking correct portions or the food today was really good. I think its the later.
Yesterday cooking was bad cos I was sick. Today was considered good.
I actually stir fried some marinated chicken wings with 3 colour cubed chilli peppers. a plateful of stir fried baby bak choy with soy sauce & the braised pork hocks.
Everything, and I mean everything was eaten off today!
