  tat's from the crab lah.... 3 of us 5 dishes... including a giant crab, steamed grouper, herbal prawns in bamboo, ma po tofu and our only "veggie" dish, seafood yam ring

  First, came the Herbal Prawn Soup in Bamboo Cup
  
  
  Then the Yam Ring came
  
  
  Ma Po Tofu next
  
  
  The fish was produced
  
  
  Open up and say.. AHHHHHH!!!!
  
  
  Then.. the crab... all 1.4kg of it
  
  
  
  
  
  Of course, gluttony prevailed.. this was all that was left of the fish...
  
  
  and note the giant claw, now emptied

  slept until lunchtime.. woke up, had lunch, bummed around, slept until time to go for Mass..

  During the live IV cannulation yesterday, one of the other medics accidentally poked the cannula all the way through the vein on my forearm, resulting in a pretty large haematoma.
  
  While the swelling has since gone down, it still hurts to touch the area.
  
  And the vein in question seems to have completely collapsed.

  The 50++ scars that I got from the live IV cannulations I had during my NSF days have faded, but are still quite visible.
  
  In other news, I've just looked at the training schedule for next week's high-key ICT (which is more like a torture schedule, really).
  
  My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I saw the plethora of siong exercises that they're squeezing into the 11 days.

  actually, they get you at a time where they don't have to pay you much.. imagine my unit.. there are a few businessmen, a few commercial pilots, a few with scarily high wages.. they try not to call us back

  I actually get more pay from working 11 days as a Sentosa Admission Ops personnel than 11 days as an SAF third sergeant.
  
  And I can't claim pay for part-time vacation work.

  Some Singaporeans are so strange.
  
  A mother to be, was wondering how long she should b-reastfeed her baby.
  
  Doctors suggests a minimum of 6 months, then to decrease the frequency so that the child can adjust to solid foods by then.
  
  Her aged old uncle, tells her: Oh, you should stop at 9th month cos the breast milk looses all the nutrients by then.
  
  1st thing that springs to mind: Uncle ever b-reast feed?
