  Wow. That's actually a very reasonable rate for an hour of personal service. Unfortunately, making the pain go away for good would probably require something a bit more drastic and expensive, like surgery.
  
  On an unrelated note, I was reading this thread about the apparent double taxation on the utilities bill. Is that really true? Is the GST being levied on the water conservancy tax? That doesn't seem right. If it is really happening, why haven't more people raised a stink about it?

  i think it is.. but then, here we probably can't be bothered anymore... you know.. boiled frogs..
  
  surgery for the spine.. i will try not to do that.. it just causes more stresses on the other vertebrae..
  
  see if this is the last time.. i just screwed it up for myself by doing some lifting of heavy things

  My last day will be this Sunday. I'll be doing the very first shift on both Thursday and Sunday (6.15am - 4.30pm).
  
  I was thinking of doing it till the end of next week... but seriously, my brain's gonna pop out of my skull really soon. It doesn't feel like the holidays at all.... work, work, work, followed by reservist, followed by more work.
  
  Heck, I still have yet to properly celebrate my birthday which was on the 25th last month!
