  yeah.. that's the thing.. to deactivate the nematocysts, vinegar is the way to go...

  i watching the news... political correctness gone mad.. they're not happy with the comic Tintin.. especiallly Tintin in the Congo where the africans were portrayed in the old way.. thick white lips, jet black skin, bone through the hair..

  American Chopper... but it's a good series to watch.. this family has changed over the few seasons... they have grown their business from just customs to having a bigass factory being built.. they're having a build-off between Snr and Jnr to design the next production bike

  Not much planned for this weekend. It's expected to get hot again, so I think I'll be spending a lot of time indoors--perhaps this will be the right time to give the house a thorough vacuum and try to get rid of all the cobwebs that have popped up all around the house due to the really hot and humid weather we've been having lately.

  The weather over here is totally opposite to your. It's freezing cold at the moment and wet too. I haven't seen Melbourne so wet for many years. Let's hope it will rain more this winter to fill up the dams. The only down side with this kind of weather is that I can't put my washing out.

  they went skeet shooting... so Jnr says.. "we had a pretty good day.. i shot 21 out of 21 and Jason almost shot all 4 of us"
  
  sometimes, i wonder.. my back is too screwed else i'd want one of those bikes they build

  The weather you're experiencing now is the type that I like. Does it ever get down to below freezing in Melbourne? I don't mind cold weather as I can always bundle up for it, but hot and humid weather just saps the energy out of me and puts a crimp on any outdoor activities.
  
  Yes, my house has central a/c, but I try to use it as little as possible to save on energy. In summer, I keep the thermostat at 78°F, but it usually feels hotter than that upstairs as all the hot air rises (the thermostat is located on the main level). I actually bought a floor-standing dehumidifier earlier this summer, and it does a semi-decent job of removing excess humidity from the air in the house, but it's really noisy and I don't like to keep it running all day.

  What's your back got to do with being able to ride one of those bikes? You could always get a touring version that has an upright seating position with a comfy padded backrest.
