  Lately I've been thinking about having a cup of Nissin Cup Noodles instead. Once in a long while when things arsed up really badly in camp I'd have one for lunch, but I poured away half the soup to dilute it.

  I was lucky.....cos I can get away with a lot of stuffs.
  
  The NS boys are tolerant with me because I always make sure they get a share of whatever I have in my private pantry.
  
  there is so far 2 wine glass in that cubicle now...But I dont think its enough.

  Anyway, new bottles of wine now comes with screw top caps instead of the normal co-rks stopper....so it is rather redundant to keep a remover...but just in case....its a good tool to use then always having to rely on the leatherman tool.
  
  can get messy sometimes when the NS boys break the co-rk and we had to drink the wine thru a hankie as a sieve.

  Not phone numbers... but MSN addresses.
  
  Anyway, I didn't just go for the ladies, of course... I made quite a few good friendships with the guys there as well. I strive to keep in touch with them as much as possible.

  First we had to cope with reduced manpower due to illness and a few people quitting.
  
  Then the platform doors at the Beach station jammed for one hour and had to be opened manually every single time the train came.
  
  Then some *bleep* jackass pressed the freakin' Emergency Stop Button at Imbiah Station... causing the entire system to freeze for several minutes until it could be reset.
  
  On top of that, the usual *bleep* morons who can't understand that loitering around on the station platform during peak periods will quickly cause congestion.... I mean, I understand that they want to enjoy the scenery, but please.... not at the cost of making others miss the train.
  
  That said.... I have no regrets working on the Sentosa Express.

  The one time when the button was pressed on my watch, I caught the little brat who did it. I took his passport from his parents (he's from India) and took down his particulars for me to pass on to my superiors. That's the SOP for such things.
  
  My superiors didn't take action against the kid, though.... they just kept his particulars for record purposes.
  
  There are no 'Fine: $5000' signs put up over the ESB.... this is a resort island, after all. It just has a sign that says 'For Emergency Use Only'.
  
  But it seems to me that some people really are so idiotic that they can only understand such signs when it can potentially hurt them in the pocket.
