  In any case, my cranky old laptop is in need of a total reformatting. Just have to bear with it for one more year until I can get afford a sexy young customised gaming desktop.

  From dealing with leftover pastries in the office, I've found that ten seconds in a microwave usually "fixes" a stale donut.

  Not at ten seconds. That's just enough time to heat up the donut without liquefying the glazing.

  Strange... I've nuked room-temp chocolate-coated donuts in our office's microwave, and they've always come out nicely warmed at ten seconds. If they've been left in the fridge, I use 15 eeconds.
  
  If it matters, the office's microwave is an Amana unit with an 875-watt rating.
