I was frankly surprised at how good the food tasted. Even the milk shake powder produced a beverage that actually tasted like a... milk shake! -

the only thing I like about the US marines combat rations are the energy bars, banana flavoured ....
actually, the SAF has a compact type menu also ... consisting of an energy bar, a food packet and the biscuits ... nothing else ... issued only to certain regular units .... the energy squares are the best stuff I've ever seen come out of any combat ration pack after desserts ... -

No, I was in Mindef HQ, so we got lots of reports, and also nasty correspondance between quarelling units e.g. one year a bunch of fuckers from your unit physically attacked and injured ATEC people AFTER they(your unit people) were 'killed' during their evaluation. There was generally a lot of bad feelings towards your unit, as far as I could observe, during my NS. Whenever the staff officers mentioned your unit, it was usually preceded by an expletive. We even celebrated the year your unit did not get Best Unit -

Yeah, I had to put up with that silliness during the time I had to maintain a current EP. Fortunately, they eventually began issuing EPs with three-year validity periods, and allowed you to apply online over the Internet.Originally posted by Fatum:nope ....
