little gal understands the word no.
and she is using it vehemently nowadays on all of us adults.
She picks up the meaning and the verbal speech better then her elder brother and using it soo often....its farni.

reminds me of this afternoon. Where I was at Target store, at the grocery sectiion trying to find some jelly worms for my nephew.
from another aisle, I heard a child asked her mama: Can I have that? (presumely a packet of sweets.)
Her mama replies: No.
Child countered: But why??
Her mama: You cant have everything you want sweetie.
To which, I sort of burst out in giggles.
The uncle, which happens to come into my aisle laughed and we both frankly was laughing and giggling together.
Then the uncle talked loudly across the aisle rows to tell the Mama: Oh yes she can! Cos you wont hold out for long against what your daughter wants everytime.
Every parents or aunties can never refuse anything for the children. -

okay.. this is for those 'catch and release' anglers..
since fatum said he caught 8 pike and only kept 1 for eating while he released the other 7...
i can never understand the rationale of fighting a fish, then releasing it for sport...
if you got to catch it, you should eat it...
in the wild, life is sometimes on a razor's edge.. a fish will fight with all it has to avoid being landed.. to the fish, it's a matter of life or death...
so, when you fight a fish, it gives its all.. strugging to the point of exhausion or worse.. then when you catch it, you throw it back... in a severely weakened state..
it will probably become prey for other fish or be unable to defend itself properly from the other fish of its kind if it is territorial..
the fish therefore becomes very vulnerable because anglers decide it is sport to reel them in and then release them.. soothing themselves saying that 'all i've done is have some sport with it.. i've released it.. it's alive'
so.. what's the point if you are not going to eat it? you may have just caused it even more suffering and probably killed the fish.. -
Pike are the apex predators .... nothing else eats them in the water ....

Friend is finally getting his divorce papers.
Kinda glad for him, cos at least then, he can starts a new life. He currently has plans for new part time studies at Poly.
and he was telling me about being introduce to some gals, but the gals backed off when they know he is divorced.
Too bad for him. But at least, he felt happier knowing that he wont have to waste time on people who might be wanting to get him to commit w/o committing themselves.
1 rule in dating. If you cannot deal with my life package. You are frankly wasting my time where I can be better off focusing on others or some other things. -
On another note.
I finally manage to be steered cleared of another guy who arent even able to match my basic criteria as a partner.
A dance partner, a life partner. Someone honest instead of stringing me along with lies and misrepresentation of his needs.
If we cannot dance to the same beat. So where are are we heading? The end result is still the same. So if the begining cannot work, what for talk about the future?
Different beats, different strokes, different styles, different expectations.
Do I need to slow my pace for someone to catch up, and yet the someone wont even borther to catch up? Do I still stand there to wait, while the rest of the people move past me?
Or should I move ahead, and eventually find someone else that I can match the pace with?
I like to dance, I liked to be able to dance at least to a competition or a show level. If my partner cannot want to do that. Then is there a point to such a partnership? -
