  Actually thinking of ASUS or Sony (again this at premium)
  But I want a small and light one and Sony have alot of small and light lappies

  Get a palmtop, with wireless access can already. With softwares for editing documents and producing basic presentations and storing your pics downloaded from your digicam.
  
  You wont want to use the hotel's wireless cos they costs a bomb.
  
  Your best bet is going to starbucks to upload and send out your emails related to your work.
  
  And airports in USA and Singapore has free wireless connections.

  I am seriously considering getting that to exchange with my father.
  
  I lugged his laptop around for some days, and its ultra heavy. I think he might appreciate the smaller lappy now since he only uses his lappy to show his clients pictures.
  
  He totally dont know how to use the lappy.

  Nothing pisses me off more than having to tap out something instead of typing

  sony only got 1 yr warranty.
  
  and laptops are known to break down only afetr teh 1st year, excet toshiba that is.
