S$1600 can buy approx the smallest sized reel which I'd just use for baby sailfish .....
true blue ocean reels would cost upwards of S$3000 + .....
I recommend the Shimano Tiagra series .... they are the best money can buy, period ... and it's even slightly cheaper than american stuff .....
they also have graphite bodied reels which will perform well for non-millionaires ..... I like the TLD 30 two speed reel very much ..... -

Vegemite is not that bad but I believe it's an acquired taste. You either like it or you don't.
I prefer savoury things to sweet things so instead of nutella or jam sandwich, I'd rather have vegemite.

now I won't pay more than C$150 for a single rod or reel ... infact ... I just bought a new stick for C$54 only .... -
