that's why people say pri sch teachers make the most money and are most relaxingOriginally posted by the Bear:that's what's happening.. they were talking about the parents volunteering to do 'volunteer work'
*pui!*
some volunteer
and the child is currently 3..
the principals tell them outright that the 'volunteer work' will not mean their child will be in that school
thing is.. the 'good' schools are rubbish.. the parents pack their children with tuition anyway.. the teachers could just appear and sit there, the children will still get good grades...
same goes for the 'good' schools of higher levels..
My parents dumped me in a neighbourhood school so that I will pick up MandarinOriginally posted by tare:wat's wrong with neighbourhood sch?
if the kid is smart, he'll get into a "good" sec sch/jc/poly/uni wat.... why put the kid thru so much stress to perform in a "good" sch at tat kinda age?

don't really think grassroots stuffs works
my relative(mom's side) volunteers in the so called grassroots and in the end, they had to write countless letters to the MOE to get my cousin a place in pri school
