thanks for asking, i am well, a little busy. so much going on at home. summer projects by hubby. he painted the dining and kitchen area. nice pale yellow. so you can imagine, here's me tagging along those home depot and home hardware stores. alamak......got to look interested. hats off to jetta. she loves stuff like that.
me? i am more a cooking or grocery shopper type. have been watching the american iron chef nightly. not that i pick up any tips but just enjoyed watching those chefs go at it. the other one i enjoy is the sugar pieces contests.
oh, and then there is this ramsey guy. he's really nasty. he's got couple of programs. hell's kitchen and ramsey something.
and oh yes, i am also glue to canadian idol, america's got talent and so you tink you can dance. wah lau eh.....story of my life is teebee related ley. -

if I move I'll have to sell or give away at least half of my books and cds and toys liao
I can't even move to my own place because I just signed a new rental/lease for 2 years. -

My shift work has a lot to do with it. I tried to get cable here so that I can watch Animal Planet and Discovery Channel but the building I'm living in will need to have a satellite installed first. *grumbles!! Forget about asking my landlord because he's the world's worst procrastinator! 
I try not to have any dealings with him because each time I do, my blood pressure rises alarmingly high and I don't wanna stroke out in front of him over TV!
My dream is still to one day get my own place here in Melbourne so that I can finally ship my barang-barang over, which includes the 500+ cookbook collection that I miss so very very much! However, with the way things are, you don't get to cook much if you're just cooking for one so I do need to find myself a man who loves to eat and who won't hiam my cooking! I dream of the day when I can grocery shop to my heart's content! Right now, the stuff in my fridge like lasts forever!
I still haven't cooked anything much besides instant ramen and grilled garlic bread. I'm still not feeling well. It's been a long time. Brought back some darn virus from Singapore that makes me giddy and nauseous and recently, reflux! Getting things in order first before cooking again. Surprisingly, it was aromatherapy that helped kept the early morning nausea and giddiness at bay! -
I hope you get that sorted out soon Rhonda. Your storage cost is scary.

I can't even move to my own place because I just signed a new rental/lease for 2 years. It's awful when you have to give away your stuff! Till today, I'm quite traumatised by my major house move across continents! Sometimes, I still think of the stuff I discarded or hurriedly gave away without a thought! New and what-not some more! Chek Ak!! Really Chek Ak!!
Dont' know about you, av, but I DO develop an attachment to things. -
