  was about to drop 28 days leave from the previous year + 28 days of that current year..
  
  talking about the spine, i think i'll break out the electrocution gizmo i have to zap my back

  Well, I'm thinking of going solo backpacking through Malaysia at the end of the month.... the hard part is convincing my dad to let me go.
  
  And yeah, I'm saving up for my so-called Graduation Trip after my final exams next year.... thinking of Australia or something.

  Today's PAP times featured an article on people who bought flats for ridiculous prices in places like Bishan during the 90s boom. Their flats are now worth only slightly more than half of their earlier infated values. A good precautionary tale.

  A friend of mine is already starting to make elaborate preparations for his graduation trip next year.
  
  He plans to take the train from Turkey and travel all over Europe, ending up in the UK.
  
  In England he plans to make a 'pilgrimage' to Old Trafford to watch a Man U game live.
  
  Then he plans to fly over to the US to make another 'pilgrimage' to the Chicago Bulls' arena and watch one of their games live.
  
  Needless to say, if he pulls this off it's gonna cost him quite a huge bundle.

  I was talking to a friend who mentioned to me that if she were me, she would rather spend the money on a new kitchen cabinet than to go on a trip. (my kitchen cabinet belongs to previous owner.. but hey i painted it! and new IKEA table top ma! ok la but still a bit grubby) she said reality is what you face with everyday and need to live with... a trip is just temporary suspension from that.

  Well sometimes you need that temporary suspension. Well, I'll see how it goes. As a side project I intend to compile a photo-essay too based on whatever I do during the 6 months too. I'm thinking 2 nikon FMs and my fuji digital compact, plus a load of film.

  aha!! i've got a site visit on Thursday.. it'll be my old workplace...
  
  i've been told it's been turned into a veritable fortress since i've left.. and i've not been there for about a year.. it'll be good to have a look again... and maybe meet some friends who are still there
  
  left that place in good terms with the working hacks
  
  but the then-management there hated me... now under 'new management' which the working hacks hate even more than the previous one.. and that one, there was this joke...

  and family will be going to san diego tomorrow and spending a nite there. Then possibly they will be going North somewhere for the week.
  
  Sis was encouraging me to travel a bit too.
  
  But I think I lost the mood to travel...I think I want to stay at home and house sit.

  And The Nike stuffs here are cheap cheap cheap!
  
  And I found a 30" Samsonite Featherweight luggage for USD69.90. Am really thinking about this one. Come on...Luggage in SG especially Samsonite is so expensive....this might be a good chance to get this one!
