If you can convince your CO or whoever to send you for your Class 1 vocation course, can become 3rd Sergeant without stepping into Sispec. Not just to stop bleeding...also to stop the cells from growing into...forgot call what...scar? That happens when the repair cells keep growing and growing until they forgot to stop, then you'll get a thick slightly protruding scar over the skin.
