  actually there is a surefire formula to get promoted:
  
  1. Make yourself visible to all the big bosses so they all recognise your face when they look at your ranking card during the annual ranking exercise
  
  2. Don't piss off management by disagreeing or rocking the boat. Be a yes man. Learn the art of reversing your position on matters in mid-sentence.
  
  3. Get yourself into as many high profile bo liao committes as you can
  
  4. Do the above 3, and you only need to put in the minimal amount of work not to screw up spectacularly. Remember, its what you do for your non-core duties that count.

  1. i make myself scarce because i hate being where the big bosses are.. i'm allergic to bullshit
  
  2. senior management seem to love to make spectacularly stupid decisions which i will tell them so logically and without making things pretty.. because it's in my nature to do so and i'm only bring responsible.. i'm a 'troublemaker' and 'boat-rocker' to them..
  
  3. i tell the bo liao committees that those i kena arrowed to join that they are useless, pointless, waste of time and resources and should have been drowned at birth with extreme prejudice.. and i show them the irrefutable evidence why

  well, some of the stuff is old which i want to watch again.. and some hilarious B-movie stuff..
  
  The Evil Brain From Outer Space is something i really want to watch
  
  then there's the weird Cronenberg movie Videodrome.. and the Lynch movie Eraserhead.. want to watch them and be weirded out all over again
  
  do a google image search of Eraserhead and you'll know why
  
  then there's Samurai 7 which i've not had the time to watch...
