she is with tan tock seng. my dad brought her there cos he heard there are better bone specialist over there. but if you ask me, dun ever ever ever go to TTHS unless u dun have a choice. they made my mum wait 24hours for bed and almost 48hours for the op. I was soooo pissed.
how about your mum which hospital did she consult? good?

but i got to feel for the maid. the doctor told them abt the pregnancy and they had to withold the information from her because they were afraid that she ran away, so they only let her know on the day she was to be sent back.

few hours quite common i think. tat time i go sgh a&e waited 3hours for bed. and they put me in the cancer ward. the funny thing is the nurses n docs all like 'pity' me. i had to tell them... Oh don your mom's injury is much worse than mine! Is hers a clean break of the bone ? Sounds incredibly paainful. Do they have to remove the wire at a later date? How long will the recovery take?
The docs just pulled my mom's wrist so the bones are aligned properly. Then casted it so that the fracture can heal.
Government hospitals are like that
We went NUH A&E, it was lucky that it was off-peak so she got attention quite quickly. Subsequently we went to the clinics at SGH because a relative works there, but still got to wait .

i think our mum's injuries are different bah... my mum's cast was removed after a week. it was not a clean break but u can see a sizable hole in the bone on x-ray. docs inserted wires to help the healing n the wires will stay there. n ya it was painful, i've never seen my mum in so much pain. doc says it would take 3-4 months to recover. but she is better now and doing therpy to regain movement on her arm.
oh my goodness, pulled to align the bones??? that is super super painful was it a hair line fracture or a big one?
btw, did u have to pay private rate when your mum transferred to SGH?
