Just finished getting briefed by my prof and the lab techs.
Simply put, I'll be starting from scratch for my FYP. As incredible as it sounds, no one has ever done a project or an investigation along the lines of what I'm doing.
My prof assured me that he would take that into account while grading my project.... but I still don't like the idea of going in blind.
Aieeeee.....
As in a few other classes will be taking this with you.
And somebody have to start something. Maybe u ca do a really good job and people will be following your idea in future.

Of course I'll have my prof, the lab techs, and probably a graduate student to turn to for assistance.... but otherwise, I'm the only bugger who's gonna investigate the mixing of fluids in a twisted pipe.
Hell, they don't even have the twisted pipe ready for me to work on. I'll be spending the first few weeks trying to manufacture several 30cm long/ 20mm OD perspex pipes with helical cross-sections of different pitches. -
