Men's suits can be expensive. My hubby's suit cost him about $300++. Actually. Nope. Most of my old clothes were given to me by my bro-in-law. Pretty much threw em away already. Since they're old and ragged. Clothes I wear now are mostly from friends. in singapore, it's a bit stupid to wear a suit in the tropical heat ... so most occasions a shirt and tie would do .......
but here it's expected ... even many school events are explicitly "formal" ....
