the maling here are sold at the asian stores at ketok prices .....
imagine C$5.50 for a can of pork trotters ..... that's about S$8 !!!!! .....
but sometimes the craving for unami lard just gets too strong ....
I'm sort of glad about the recent china food scare that way ...

I don't eat pork so I have 5 tins of Maling sitting around... dunno what to do with it...

I once got that through by accident... we had carried some bubble tea syrups in the food bag and the bottles broke so when the bag was opened to inspect, chaos ensued... and the customs officer was so nice... helped clean up etc.. the bak kwa was in my wife's handbag as we were eating on the plane... and we totally forgot about it...Originally posted by Fatum:there's daddy, mommy, younger sis and bro mah ...
