Anyway, the chips taste quite good, but cannot beat Kettle chips....so won't buy anymore.
And here's some nice-looking french toast.

can't you get it in singapore too? or too expensive?Originally posted by viciouskitty74:To make french toast and not get it too soggy and soft.
dip the bread thru the egg mixture machiam like skimming the egg mixture.
And its best when the egg mixture contains grated parmesa cheese.
There is a nice mix of sugar and saltiness imparted by the cheese.
My nephew and neice likes them. Its sis's recipe actually.
I am contemplating bringing a big bottle of grated parmesan cheese back to Singapore.
I don't like parmesan cheese. It smells like baby puke!Originally posted by viciouskitty74:To make french toast and not get it too soggy and soft.

I think I only dislike the powder form. The actual cheese I don't mind.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:i remember first smelling parmesan cheese on spagetti when I was working in Changi Airport catering Services.
It smelt so badly of puke!
The cooks noticed that I dont liked it, and specially cooked a plate of spegetti and the parmesan for me to try.
I think I started liking cheese from then on.
One, it smells like durian, 1st time is also the more terrible smell. But after you got used to it. Its actually very appetising.
Two, some folks really made an effort for me to try out new stuffs. And I always appreciate that thereafter.

Ya, camebert cheese is nice and so is brie.Originally posted by viciouskitty74:Let me boast
One time, helping out at the international dance tournament. We had a bottle of wine broken and instead of dumping the wine. I sieve off the broken glass thru a borrowed handkerchief.
Then I run downstairs to the hotel supermarket and manages to get a portion of camebert cheese. Those really good one.
Then I cut some pieces of the cheese to go with the wine.
Several old folks, came by and asked to taste the cheese with the wine.
Then some of them came back again to ask for more. Telling me it was really delicious with the wine and telling me that was the first time they ever paired the cheese and wine!
They were even asking me what is the name of the cheese!
I like cheese, just like I would like durian.
