Well, I might not resist being 'hands-on' and helping him to take it off then...Originally posted by viciouskitty74:
maybe some day, you can hold a stopwatch and time him taking off that uniform.

He already cracked some joke about him having a fireman's uniform in his wardrobe "if it turns you on".

I'm a tad concerned... are we moving too fast? But then again, it all feels so comfortable. We did talk about this and we both agreed we'll just do what feels comfortable to both.
I did meet one other guy but I'm writing him off. He's jaded, and he's had 'A FEW' 'long term relationships' with the ladies on the dating website and he's been on that site for SIX YEARS!!![]()
I mean, something's gotta be very very wrong with him! How can one have A FEW 'long term relationships' in that short space of time? What's 'long term' to him? Three months?

Anyways, he's got a lot of emotional baggage and he's not interested in anything, like nothing seems to excite him, so forget it.
Fireman is only seeing me, or so he says. I think we need to find out more about each other in the days to come but I like how honest we are with each other. It's been about 6-7 years since my last relationship and it's been a few years since his last too, so we're both ready to give it a go again.

What's stopping you from 'procuring' oneOriginally posted by Rhonda:![]()
The nurse's uniform here is ugly! It's just some silly old-fashioned looking shirt with navy pants / skirt. Doesn't even look anything remotely like a nurse's uniform.
I think the cutest nurse's uniform I've seen has got to be the student nurse's uniform.![]()
I have the Singapore student nurse's uniform but it's at home in SG!Originally posted by av98m:What's stopping you from 'procuring' one![]()

Yeah... we seem to take the same stand re. self-indulgent people who are always checking into hospitals to feed their painkiller addiction or patients who resort to attention-seeking antics by faking pain and illnesses.Originally posted by Wanda:Amazing, but it's feels so wonderful when you find someone whom you can just click with, eh?
And, does your mama know? To quote an Abba song.![]()
is 2 years considered long term? so 3 times 2 years?Originally posted by Rhonda:Actually, we've only met three times, but we get along so well already, it's kinda amazing!

Awww....it sounds great! I know what you mean about wanting to take the plunge, and yet wonder if it's too soon, or what if after you sort of commit to each other and found out that perhaps you should have taken things slower, but you'll never know until you take that risk. I know this isn't helping, but that's the way things are. I imagine your excitement and emotional high of being at the verge of being in love, and wanting to toss all caution to the wind and just plunge in!Originally posted by Rhonda:Yeah... we seem to take the same stand re. self-indulgent people who are always checking into hospitals to feed their painkiller addiction or patients who resort to attention-seeking antics by faking pain and illnesses.
It also helps that his mom is a high-ranking retired nurse and his sister is a nurse. Plus in his fireman role, he's had to respond to road traffic accidents to help extricate people trapped in car crashes and sometimes that involves erm... some sorta amputation on-the-spot. So he and I can talk about medical stuff without wincing and he does have an interest in these things, which is important to me cause I do love clinical nursing.
At this stage, I'm just a tad frightened cause things are going well now, but there's always this little fear that he'll change his mind about me, y'know?Too many 'what if's' at this stage. It's like you want to take the plunge, but you're scared to. You wanna give it your everything, but you're scared of losing it all and cleaning up the messy aftermath...
