  As a result I've had to turn to third-party ink.... I can get a set of four black cartridges and two colour cartridges for just $20. The quality of the printouts is slightly reduced, but it's good enough for me.

  fudge, actually, just print in school for black and white stuff which is most. ITs probably cheaper than the inkjet if you add up the costs and you get better quality + speed.

  the floss was stuck again, so i gave it a good yank.
  
  then i heard something small and hard fall on the floor. couldn't locate it, too small i guess.
  
  when i double checked my tooth, there's a jagged edge.
  
  i think i better go to a dentist to confirm. but i'm too lazy to see medical personnel.

  I've been following the Speakers' Corner thread on the plight of our local cleaners.
  
  Some fella actually whined that 'at least the cleaners get paid more than NSFs'.
  
  Pffttt.... at least NSFs get free food, lodging, and healthcare. Cleaners, on the other hand, have to support themselves and their families on their meagre wages. And for goodness' sake.... RECs these days get nearly double of what I got, with a five day workweek, two years of service, and much easier training conditions than in the past!

  but it still is shit pay. and how much more comfortable it is has no relation to how much pay they should be getting for conscription.
