  actually i find the newer models like those bright colours or multi-coloured ones ugly too. but then i guess its about fashion not how nice it looks

  bu dai xi got it's own cable channel in taiwan...they call it pi li bu dai xi...even got a movie out which garnered one of the best box office of all time

  Oh yes, i found the Taiwan is so much richer when it comes to traditional art forms....unlike us...so green still, and too easy in aping the west.

  This morning, boss was looking thru some resumes and rejected all except one and complained that some are so mature. I asked him "what's wrong with mature?" and he dare not answer me.

  Only whenever he decided to buy new clothes. I feel it's important that the colours / shade of clothes match his dark skin tone.

  yeah...i watched the discovery ch docu on taiwan...they're reviving a traditional music genre now and then they got their own tea drinking culture different from japan and then there's lin huai min's cloud gate troupe..

  But they also had a lot of Japanese influence. I saw a prog which featured a group of women who beat drums using their foot, and their make-up and dressing resembles the geisha...like another group of traditional dancers....can't remember the programme but it was shown just last wk.

  the scientists think it's because they sometimes use boats to hide from orcas which hunt them.. so they're familiarising their young calves to boats..
