As it turns out, I didn't go home directly from school.
I ended up wandering the streets around Bugis and City Hall with no destination in mind.

60cm long canines, 45cm long teeth sticking forward used to stab other hippos and animals...
nervous, twitchy.. always ready to attack..
hippos rarely die of old age.. they usually die of terrible wounds inflicted by other hippos
