  The big joke is that, if I spend about $500 and above on anime DVDs in HK, the difference in $$$ spent compared to buying the same titles at Odex VCD (!) pricing, is much more than my airfare and hotel combined.
  
  So I save $$$ by flying overseas to buy anime.
  
  It's a moot point anyway, as Odex only brings in a few titles compared to Hong Kong

  I think all the imported disc will be sent to the media authorities for screening / censoring, after which they will put their sticker on them, or confiscate where relevant.
  
  ps: And i think the disc owner has to pay for their svc.
