I guess it was a fault on our part. We shouldn't have allowed her to walk on the window ledges. I mean, we know she wouldn't fall. She'd just sit there and look out at the scenery and enjoy the breeze. Then one day, a bird landed on the lower ledge. Cats being cats, she went onto the lower ledge. Guess she slipped and fell. 14 stories.
She struggled... but gave way after 15 minutes... I remember I was crying like mad. Didn't eat, didn't sleep. We buried her in a little abandoned garden in an undeveloped area behind our flat. It was still accessible, now it's just full of overgrowth and such.
We took a picture of her little resting place...
Ah well. -

i've had a few hamsters pass on.. even though their lifespan is short, it's still like a kick in the gut -
