yeah toshiba sucks, my sch gave it up after 2 years. too much problem for them.
for free anti virus, you just gotta use the cracked version of nod32. its the best around. -

Anyway, my laptop's a Tecra M2V. Pretty standard model for its time... though by now there are a lot of cheaper and more powerful laptops out there right now.
If you ask me, I would recommend Lenovo. All my friends who bought IBM laptops have sung praises of its reliability as a workhorse... and sniggered at us morons who have been snookered into buying a Toshiba laptop.
Seriously, virtually everyone I know who's using a Toshiba laptop has nothing but contempt and derision for their machines. -

i agree with you.
i have never known 1 toshiba user in my sch who has never once sent it for repair.
made in phillipines seems much worse then china or sth.
heck my 2k dell laptop is still serving me fine. -

and that was 3 years ago when i worked for them, now i think 1.8kg got le.
13 inch screen i think. but dman i love their keyboards. and cust service at taka, very conveninet. -
My good friend sms me today that she was admitted to hospital coz of contractions and that she is giving birth soon
They are transferring her to the labour ward later in the afternoon but just smsed me again that trying to delay till midnight for National Day Baby ....
I told her " This kind of thing can delay one meh?"

cuz my case, my mother felt contractions and stuff around 1-2am.
she delayed till morning 7am like that then go hospital.
but woah wait for more then 12 hours that one i duno. -
