  my dad's driving me nuts..
  
  he's fiddling with MS Word on the PC and keeps asking things which i've told him everytime he fires it up (which is very often)
  
  this time, he goes into the 'outline' view and insists that it's all spoilt.. i explain to him (again) that it's not the page view and i show him how to put it to the page view...
  
  he insists that the printout will be 'messed up'
  
  i tell him to stop looking at the thing like a typewriter because it is not, it's a word processor... but i think it's alien to him.. even when he's been using MS Word from the Windows 3.1 incarnation...
  
  i think i'll go to the mall...

  I used to have a penpal from Brunei. Pretty sweet girl of my age.
  
  We kept in touch for several years through snail mail. We then upgraded to MSN.
  
  Eventually, though, she didn't come online for several months. I discovered (through a clone MSN account) that she had been blocking me. My messages to her through Friendster were ignored as well.
  
  Sigh... sometimes I still wonder what brought about her change of heart.

  amazingly the tyre shop was open, i got my tyre patched up on the way back home.
  
  i need a new phone dammit, my old one (b4 the PDA) doesn't make any sound when a SMS comes in! and the battery is behaving like a punk.
  
  but the damn new phones now cost like $400+?!?!?!
