Don't envy me because I'm a sewing pro.Originally posted by the Bear:sewing machine? hmmm...
it's good.. while farmers reap what they sow, you can sew what you rip
*dodges rotten tomatoes*
anyway, i need a new phone.. it's lost a few phone numbers.. my new colleague's number has vanished..
must have dropped it way too many times.. the little game inside the phone also keeps resetting.. so i think it's served its time...
Got a pic of it? I wonder if our US models are available in Sg? This is the one I have. It's not a super new model. Gone are the days when I absolutely have to have the latest and greatest.Originally posted by kopiosatu:new phone? I'm getting the one advertised in sgForums recently.
$350.00
Sony Ericsson K800i

Jetta, what kind of sewing machine do you have? I've got a Sakura which I hardly use...except when I rip my pants / skirt when squatting down.![]()

My 2 year renewal was up last June and I had a choice between the Razr and the Katana (which I ended up with). Althought I liked the Razr, I didn't like how flat the keypad was. When I dial, I tend to dial by feel. The Katana has a slightly "raised" keypad which is why I went with it.Originally posted by the Bear:wanna bet?
which is why the motorola razr.. it has a front screen which tells you who is calling...
i think other brands have clamshells also which have no front screen.. those are dangerous

Ahhh...yes, the old Singer model - mom wanted me to inherit her old wooden one that operates by foot, and I did for a few years...until I was attracted by the new machines that comes with better functions (eg. hem trimming). Gave the old one to my cousin.Originally posted by jetta:Morning Wanda! *waves*
When I left Sg, my mother gave me her old manual Singer machine. We move every 3 years so I eventually had to sell it because of the weight and bulk. I replaced it with a Kenmore electric model a few years back. It's slightly above your basic machine because I really don't need any fancy features.
