Stallowner Benson Leong took over the stall from his father, who started selling the dish at the age of seven during the Japanese Occupation. The chicken meat is tender and smooth, and the chilli sauce has the addictive taste of both sweet and sour. Lately, the stall has reduced the amount of oil used in its rice to cater to healthconscious customers. When the family took a break three years ago, its former workers set up another stall of the same name in Commonwealth Avenue Cooked Food Centre. Their version is also extremely good but very much oilier.
(supposedly, 8pm but usually around 5:30pm, no more chicken left..) -

A new coffee shop just opened nearby....and they have cafe latte machiato! Die liao....
Not bad leh for $2.50....better than the crappy cappacino served by McCrap. -

Bozz ordered in foodstuffs for his friends in the office.
I tar pau along a packet of the much talked about sinful Xiu Bar & Char Siew Rice at Circular Road. At $5/- a packet. It was really really good!
Next time....I will sit down and eat at the stall instead. Then can be serve soup. -

I prefer the liquid one, wont leave powdery residues on the black clothes.
Anway, I prefer Dynamo Anti Bacteria. It really took off the smell of some stinky angmoh from my pillows.
