My VSC HQ is full of old folks. We are talking about 48 & above! I was among the babies (2 of us to be exact, now its 3) of the folks there at a tender age of 32! The other youngests was 31!
Then with the bikers, with the young ones, I am officially known as the auntie VK.
But with the old ones, and we are occasionally peppered with some slightly above 30s, we are the young ones. Cos the biker group I hang out with are mostly retirees.
Anyway, it is known that whenever any of the old men has problem with their new fangled phones....Sam will do the explanation. And he really has the patience to explain all the features of the phone for them. -

just realised i've been eating about 90% carbohydrates the past 2 days
maybe that's why i've been sleepy as heck...
anyway, the cheapo iSan docking station for my iPod works pretty well.. i think i may load up my iPod-mini with the dead battery for the office instead of using my good iPod -
anyway, my amazon order is for the complete DVD set for Outlaw Star. quite an old anime that I watched on VCD ages ago.

Do read the Review page of today's papers.
It has an alternative viewpoint to this anime downloading saga - that it may not necessarily be illegal at all, and that in fact, fan activities may contribute to the building of a market for anime in Singapore.
The difficult part is trying to hammer all this legal mumbo-jumbo out in court.... only a handful of the anime downloaders have decided to go to court with Odex, while all the rest have conceded defeat and agreed to pay the compensation demanded by them. -
so.. odex may have shot themselves in the foot while trying to financially sodomise their future (now never to be) customers...

Or, why dont you guys sort out your old dvd or cd and sell them 2nd hand to me.
I am expected to be able to view them in September when my utility room bedroom is ready with that new TV & dvd player.
Might just also need to put in a more versatile DVD player that plays all codes.
Papa's dvd player seems to only want to play code 5.1???? -
