I'm curious to know how or what they deemed as those worthy of catching... is it by the volume of download, or what? And how much is considered over the limit of "for own consumption" if that is even applicable for Odex's case.

ok so by right using it for your own personal use and consumption should be ok.
but the way BT works, gives them a case of you're also sharing the file with others therefore its not entirely for your own use.
yeah i think probbaly they catch a certain number by volume, then the rest of the smaller ones, go by heng suay. -
