I generally expect kids to be rowdy and playful, so i'm quite tolerant, unless their noise gets too high for my liking, or they start pulling my leg hair..or something its usually fine by me.
But if it goes on for a while and the parents do nothing, then its the parents fault.![]()
Of course it does! As a kid yourself, you tend not to see / can't see the rowdy kids as wrong (as you've said so yourself), so you don't blame them, but blame the parents instead.Originally posted by stellazio:doesn't mean anything, what!

there was a time at Queensway MRT Station, when getting out of the gates, a young boy (about 10 years old) in uniform just suddenly stare at me, and mumble "NBCB, women bla bla bla...". I got furious, and moved closer to him, in a loud voice and said "I am bringing you to the Police Station" and attempt to grab his arms...he turned white and make a run for his life....I couldn't help laugh...coward kids.!Originally posted by the Bear:you guys have NEVER seen verbal abuse yet
Likewise... for your case.Originally posted by stellazio:so if i'm an adult i will spare other adults?

kids as in those haven't even enter primary school yet, i tend to give quite a bit of leeway. afterall i don't even think they probably know whats going on and how it affect others.Originally posted by the Bear:you can't bear to blame them because you're one of them right?
i expect a library to be free from noise...
i expect a bookshop to be free from children playing tag..
i expect a supermarket to be free from children throwing tantrums...
i expect a mall to be free of children screaming at the top of their lungs...
are they too unreasonable expectations?
a lot of parents think so..
