we start to think you side with brats because you are/were one and want to rationalise your own behaviour.. a lot of people do that...
just like hisk.. when he comes in and asks us how to go about getting the 'desired outcome' of a psychological test.. and keeps defending his reasons for trying to achieve the 'correct outcome'...

yes.. i blame the child, not for crying but for screaming his head off in a library..
and.. yes.. i tried to tell a child to please keep quiet.. and i was nice about it...
the child ran off screaming and playing tag with his sister..

the parents needs to teach em. some will learn just by talking some needs the mroe physical part.
you talk tot he child, he does not learn, thats cause he's ignorant. so the parents needs to explain to them, or even use physical force.
well like most parents their generation, the cane was always use to instill fear and dicipline. -

they do not realize that their crying is irritating to the ears of the public. so they continue doing so.

Maybe I am wrong...
nowsaday, I see children look up to their parents as shelter, food and pocketmoney only. They hardly communicate or talk about morales and their experiences with their parents... so in the long run, they dun build any mutual respect and bonding anymore.. so the kids naturally or conditioned to scream & demand, and they get their material stuffs and the attention they wanted.. -

but i guess its because most of the yong parents nowadays don't have the time to teach their kids whats right and whats wrong from young.
lotsa them parents leave their kids with the grandparents which majority of em for some reason seem to spoil the kids. -

Little kids observe and learn. If they know they are going to get something by throwing a tantrum, they will throw a tantrum until they get what they want. This is how kids learn as they grow up.
The parents have a great responsibility to teach the kids what's wrong and what's right. Noticed that a lot of parents do not discipline their kids nowadays. Why? Probably they feel guilty that they work all the time and do not spend enough time with the kids and so when they have the time, they indulge the kids in buying things for them and so on. They become more lenient with their kids.
These are just my thoughts by the way.. -
