jetta, I met my fireman via an online dating website. Think I told you about it when I was back in SG and putting up my profile? We met in July and at first I wasn't that interested in thinking of him as anything more than a friend cause I kinda thought we didn't have the chemistry but whoa... sometimes, spontaneous combustion happens! 
BTW, Bear's sis and honeymousey have met him already. We went out together and it was my 2nd date with fireman and at that time, I wasn't interested but these two cheeky girls said that they "approve" of him!
Fireman then made his move on the 3rd date and gave playful pokes, tickles and touches as we were playing on the Wii, which made me realise, "Hmm...??"
Anyways, to cut a long story short, we've been on 14 dates or so thus far. -

I'm much better now, honeymousey, thanks for asking! Had a few feverish nights when I had weird nightmares and one morning, after dreaming of being back home with mom, dad and bro, I woke up to find myself a bit disorientated and confused as to where I was!
Funny all my feverish dreams were of being back home with family, back in the ICU I worked in, or of living in larger apartments or being chased by giant anacondas. -

CFA (Country Fire Authority) firemen here play a quasi-paramedic role in a way too. They are sometimes the first to arrive at the scene of road traffic accidents way before the paramedics arrive so they start the rescue process. My fireman told me he responds to calls and arrives to cut the victims free from their vehicles. I never knew the extensive roles firemen play here until I met him.
On top of that, his mom and sis are nurses so we can yak on and on about bloody and gorey stuff and laugh over them the way people in the medical profession does.
I've always secretly wanted either a policeman or a fireman as my b/f.

elindra, remember to pack your toiletries into your luggage that you check-in because if you're bringing them on board in your carry-on luggage, there's a volume and quantity restriction. They have to fit into a small Ziploc bag and all that... you know the new rules, right?
