I bought a box of 4 (lotus seed paste) 2 weeks ago. I had 2 so far.... and both of them consumed at my in-law's place. I didn't give them the whole mooncake as I wasn't sure if they like it. I like having it with chinese tea. Yummy. Compare mooncake to rice dumpling though, I still prefer rice dumpling. I still haven't found a nice dumpling in Oz just yet!!! I miss it so much. -

I too prefer the savoury dumpling anytime. I tried the Ho Kee dumpling ($2 each) over the weekend, and it was very good, altho' it was a bit salty and a tad strong on the spices. Will likely buy again. -
after gym yesterday nite, saw that there are stalls selling mooncakes.. so tempted to buy from every stall...raffles, crown prince, harbour city lah..
all looked so good....
din buy, cos I got only $20 in my wallet...cash payment only.

While I like it, I don't think I can be bothered to make it myself. Oh well... just have to wait when I go home for CNY next year.
