It's a 13MB mp3 file.
Okay, then indicate your desired bitrate for the mp3 file, and I'll encode it as such when I get home tonight.Originally posted by elindra:I dun need such a high quality file
But thx
13MB is ok what -_-Originally posted by elindra:I dun need such a high quality file

Yup, I prefer to encode all my MP3s at 320kpbs for maximum sound quality, which results in some rather sizeable files. However, with 10GB of space on my DAP (a Sansa e280), memory is not a problem.Originally posted by av98m:13MB is ok what -_-
if i recall correctly, bear said its proven to be humanly impossible to hear the diff between 160kpbs and above encoding?Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Yup, I prefer to encode all my MP3s at 320kpbs for maximum sound quality, which results in some rather sizeable files. Well, music CDs are encoded up to 20,000 kHz even though most people can only perceive frequencies up to around 14,000 kHz.Originally posted by hisoka:if i recall correctly, bear said its proven to be humanly impossible to hear the diff between 160kpbs and above encoding?
well, i would say since its useless, why yes even if you have the storage. ef anything the transfer would be faster.Originally posted by Meia Gisborn:Well, music CDs are encoded up to 20,000 kHz even though most people can only perceive frequencies up to around 14,000 kHz.
Besides, if the storage space is available, why not have the MP3 file capture as much of the source as possible, including the 'inaudible' portion?
