There's Air Asia X coming from KLIA to Melbourne's Avalon... Not too sure abt them though, but Air Asia X seems to be looking at long haul budget routes, something which is new -

But seriously w/o in flight entertainment or proper meal I dun think it's going to work in the long run, maybe yes during the fan fare period
At the end of the day, to me Budget flights works well only for short haul rts -
Budget airlines can have in flight entertainment too but you have to pay to hire the screen. They do that in Jetstar.

It doesn't matter to me as most of the times I sleep on the plane anyway. I usually catch Singapore airline but hardly get to enjoy the inflight entertainment.

That time I ended up watching it on the return journey -
For some reasons, as soon as I board the plane, I just get sleepy. A few times, I tried to watch the movies but I ended up falling asleep.

My two elder siblings pooled their money to buy a 32" Samsung LCD TV.
And I didn't even know that they bought it until the deliverymen came yesterday with a huge package with the Samsung label. -

If it were up to me, I wouldn't have bought it.... Samsung is one of the brands that I've blacklisted because of bad experiences with their products.
Other brands which I've blacklisted include Toshiba and Creative.
