My Samsung digicam went kaput within a week of buying it. I took it down to the Samsung service center, which said that it would be ready 'within two days'.
After more than a week, I still hadn't heard from them. So I called their customer service hotline. The customer service officer told me that she would get back to me 'as soon as possible'.
Five hours passed. She still hadn't called back.
I called the hotline again, and I demanded another CSO to give me the information that I wanted - NOW.
As it turned out, the camera had already been ready for several days. And someone had neglected to inform me.
I marched down to the service center, called the manager out, and demanded that he explain for 1) why no one bothered to call me when my camera was ready, and 2) why the first CSO didn't call me back as she promised. The manager promised me that he would conduct an investigation and call me back the very next day.
He only called me back three days later.
And when he did, I blasted right at him, 'I see that you guys either have a grudge against me, or it's the Samsung culture to treat your customers like sh*t. So which one is it?!?!'
