Hilarious offbeat comedy. I say "offbeat" since the main love interest is a large black man named Barry, who will woo you like you've never been woo-ed before. This is not your normal Hollywood comedy, it's got more of an "Arrested Development" feel - a funny script and Bob Odenkirk's direction (and supporting player role) make this work. Basically, this film takes every men's prison cliché and pushes it ten times further. If you've ever wanted to just stay in and drink toilet wine with a loved one, then this film should resonate with you. This is destined to end up a cult movie since it's not exactly mainstream humor, but if you're a fan of Odenkirk and David Cross's "Mr. Show," you'll find a lot here to enjoy - and you'll also find the very tall Brian Posner standing in a crowd scene near the end. -

In other news, I have (finally!) received a letter from Sentosa detailing the accounting error which resulting in another dude's wages going into my bank account.
It seems that I have to return $558 to Sentosa. 
The reason why I didn't notice the discrepancy was that I seldom check my bank account. On top of that, my sis sometimes puts money into my account - so any extra money really isn't surprising to me. And finally, the $558 was paid out over several paydays.
Then because of the accounting errors, the CPF contributions got messed-up as well. It's extremely confusing stuff, and I'm gonna call them later to clarify things.
I'm still incredibly shocked and pissed that they only started to properly sort out the accounting mess AFTER I insisted that I would not return any money without any proof that they had overpaid me. -

there was once my boss credited extra $1,000 into my salary..

As it turns out, the guy who was supposed to have received the money has a name very similar to mine. And as it turns out, they didn't confirm his IC number before making those payments - which ended up in my account.
They only started to realise that something was wrong when the guy complained to MOM about not receiving any wages for several paydays (which is once every two weeks).
And when the supervisor told me that she would verbally tell me the amount that was overpaid, I knew that something was seriously wrong. And when she advised me to credit the amount directly to the other guy's account, I knew that something was VERY, VERY, VERY WRONG.
I'll be going down to their Vivocity office on Saturday to settle things once and for all. I will pay them the exact amount in cash, and will demand an acknowledgement letter certifying that I've already returned the money to them. No way on earth will I give the money directly to the other guy.
And I'll rub it in their faces that their negligence had cost me very dearly. I did not benefit from having an extra $500++ in my account. If anything, I now have to suffer, knowing that I have $558 less than what I'm supposed to have.
KNN... now my finances are in shambles because of them. -

The last time I went down there, I told the supervisor that I had to skip a lecture to come down. I also told her that almost every time she called me to discuss the matter, I was either studying or in the middle of a lesson. For this Saturday's visit, she told me that they would pay for my cab fares. I'll take the money and tell them that it changes nothing at all - the fact of the matter remains that they have irrevocably screwed my finances, my studies, and in general, my life. -
Complain to the press and MOM about them

Fudge, I think you should pay them a cheque instead of cash....cheque would be payable to Sentosa Corp, which will definitely leave an audit trail....not just as a record of their mistake , but more importantly, offers more protection to yourself.
ps: as you can also demand for an official receipt coz they have to account for the cheque received to tally it in their accounts (if they still have any proper ones in the first place).
