master degrees at ivy league schools .... scholarships and all that ... management jobs straight out from school etc etc .....
while the prodigal son spent his youth puttering around coral reefs, fishing and wearing a huge backpack around the region ......
the cousins decided that NUS was not good enough for them and went overseas to cornell and columbia on scholarships ....
the prodigal son decided that he didn't want NTU engineering and badgered his parents to let him escape Singapore to see the world ....
the cousins returned in triumph to prestigious jobs in Singapore ... the prodigal son stayed on to hack code at an obscure place while wearing bermudas and T-shirts and slippers to work ... but mainly to chase skirts .... *skirt .....
and now the prodigal son decides he's had enough and wants to come home ? ....

C'mon Fatum!!! Life is more than just achievement. If you keep on comparing yourself with others you'll never keep up. There's always someone with better achievement, richer etc.
Just be content and happy that you have loving parents who love you as you are.

My cousins are also from Ivy league schools ok
One is from Brown's University School of Economics
The other one is on scholarship at John Hopkin's ok sponsored by our PAP

Me? I'm a rebellious teen, almost a dropout, currently studying design, at an art school I barely managed to scrape through. -

It could be a personal achievement
Something you feel you have achieved and felt that yr life changed because of it
Can be anything like winnning an art competition, climbling Mount Everest etc
