Problem is enforcement of the all female rule. Singaporeans and mainland chinese and indians are mostly peasants or ruffians. I suspect a lot will ignore the rules and force their way into the all female cabins, even if they have to use violence on the SMRT staff.
think about it, we've been unable to even make them stand aside and give way to alighting passengers, or queue up in an orderly manner. despite trying for years. -

Well, if I were her family I'd be filling a lawsuit myself. The husband was frantically calling the airport about the same time she was being arrested, if I read the articles right. I've always wondered why the government doesn't just impose a fine for not queueing up when using mass transit. After all, the levying of fines seems to work as a means of behaviour modification in Singapore. -

Well, when I took the train last Saturday at City Hall, the people on the platform were jostling to get inside while the people inside were still trying to get out.
I very audibly exclaimed: 'Ugly Singaporeans! If everyone tries to get in while everyone else is trying to get out, then who can go anywhere? Stupid sia!!!'
The forensic scientist (who was with me) literally clamped my mouth shut after that. -
